I almost never watch films twice, even the ones I've really enjoyed. Partly because there are too many new ones to see! I find it quite weird that people watch certain films over and over - and would be interested to know why.

ive watched sparticus at least 50 times,i watch it when theres bugga all else to do,i dont know why i turn to sparticus i just do. No reason just a film i can watch time n time again without getting bored

Ive lost count how many times I have watched Big Lebowski, imo it's Jeff Bridges best film. The character he plays, Jeff Lebowski is quality and no matter how many times I watch it... I laugh.

Reasoning - God only knows

I went through a stage of watching Trainspotting endlessly, for the simple reason that, for me, it's such a perfect slice of cinema, and no other films of that genre come close to matching it.

Breaker Morant - really recommend that you watch this. Australian film set in the Boer war (and a small part for Ray Meagher Alf from Home and Away) Edward Woodward as Breaker morant an English Officer......youtube has some clips etc - really fantastic film
interestingly, the youngest of he three charged was imprisoned at lewes prison for 3 years before being sent back to australia, the other two were executed, the youngest one wrote a book about his experiences, scapegoats of the empire i think it was called.

Scarface.
It was on last night at about 12.15. I watched about 20 minutes of it, and have resolved to dig out my DVD of it this weekend. Pacino is IMMENSE.

A Matter of Life and Death, The Duellists, Godfather II, Apocalypse Now and Blade Runner come to mind.

And all the Marx Brothers Films the BBC used to run at late night over Christmas back the 1980's which I would watch somewhat worse for wear but still able to appreciate the Groucho gems such as: Marry me and I'll never look at another horse.......
