Exactly that, the line ‘I should have done more.’ Even though you know you’re being suckered in and manipulated by that saccharine Hollywood bollocks heartstrings line that was never actually spoken by Schindler you can’t help but go along for the blubfest ride, followed by the stone laying, equally emotional.
