Film Editing Software

Can anyone recommend some software for me please? It does not need to be top of the range all I need it to be able to do is:

1. Receive the imput via a DV lead from the camcorder
2. Insert some captions and titles
3. Overlay some music
4. Output to either DVD or a file that I can use Nero to burn to DVD

Pinnacle Systems - Product summary - Pinnacle Studio version 12

This is the one I use, although I bought it about three years ago.

Yeah I use Pinnacle Studio too, good bit of software and does everything including capturing form the camcorder and burning the DVD as well as authoring the DVD menus if you want them and all the regular editing stuff.

I've used Pinnacle Studio in the past as well although not for a year or so.

When I was looking at different packages, Pinnacles always seemed most user friendly and reasonably priced.

Had to also buy a ?firewire lead as the DV lead was not quick enough as sound did not synch, so need the input on your camcorder, although I guess most modern ones do. Also program is resourse hungary which is ok if you are just doing the DVD editing.
