I'm rarely surprised myself to be in the minority, and this seems to be the case with Conclave.

Great twist at the end, but that aside I cannot see what all the fuss is about. It's apparently likely to hoover up loads of awards but I just don't know why. I imagine if I was religious I'd be a bit more engaged. But when this comes on TV, I won't be watching
I do tend to agree - I watched it on a BA flight back from Hong Kong at the weekend, and with the current health issues of the current Holy Father (as a watcher of QI I know that his title ISN'T "The Pope"! ) thought it might be worth watching to see how they determine a new one. At least there was no mention of the mythical papal chair!

Boring By Sea
Watched Jaws the other day for the umpteenth time and noticed in the credits that it was released in 1975 , making this year the 50th anniversary. I’m sure there will be a cinema rerelease and some big screen showings over the Summer. Not sure if it would get through the board of classification as a PG today though. I saw it as a 9 year old and it was an A certificate which is the equivalent and was scared shitless. There is a bit of drug use at the start, multiple bloody attacks and a decapited head complete with maggots eating away at the eye! How it got passed at the time is interesting as I thought classifications were stricter then.

Bridget Jones mad about the boy

This was the best of the 4 films

A good story and a stellar cast. The film got stronger as it went along with some powerful and poignant scenes many I could relate to, ghosting and next of kin especially

38 of the 40 seats sold and I was surrounded by crying middle aged Women 35 women and 3 men

The actors were all on top form and Grant stole every scene he was in

It rates a very solid 81 out of 100
