Yay! Another Albion game in London resulting in reports of in-fighting; & a mob of self-styled 'hard-men' going up there with the intention of creating a scene by 'acting up'.

I almost got hit (twice) by one of those mini milk cartons thrown from the upper tier. Stewards didn't seem to be doing much about it - but if that's the extent of the bad boy hooliganism at West Ham these days then I guess that's progress.
I'm glad we generally don't behave like that towards away fans at the Amex though.

Too many opinion nazi's home and away these days. Too many people thinking it is a good idea to pipe up a sarcastic answer to someone that may have a different opinion to themselves. That's football i am afraid and if you think everyone is either going to have the same opinion as you every game or do not like it if someone is upset at a shite performance then you should piss off to Snooker.
It is not always what is said it is often the way people say it in that hideous holier than thou under tune. So what if someone is having a pop at a particular player, or the side if they are playing shit. There are also a large number of people that will not sing f*** all but when someone does moan they pipe up with the old 'You should support your team' bullshit, when they are happy to add no atmosphere at any time during a season.
I would of booed yesterday if i was there, does not mean i don't think we have done well overall this season....but this also does not mean i can not have an opinion on any one player or performance at any single match.
A large proportion of people shout, sing, and act completely different to what they are like as a person outside of a match(drink or no drink). I have never seen anyone walk through town doing a wanker sign to someone wearing a football top different to their own team when off shopping for example but thousands do this every week at a stadium.
There seem to be more and more people that seem to concentrate more on anyone that may say something out of sync with your own mindset than just watching the bloody game.
Do not go for a pie/pint/piss before half time
Do not leave early
Do not Boo or slag off a player
Do not swear in front of children
Do not stand up what so ever
Do not sing SBTS incorrectly
Blah Blah Blah......... and the durge of having to be correct at all times is all so consuming

Laughable on so many levels. Large man hurling abuse and obscenities at his own team, can't take it when someone gives him some stick back. If a few words were exchanged and that was the end of it, there would be no ejections, but no he can't control his temper and starts on someone else. The fight was handbags and everyone had completely calmed down by the time the stewards and police decided to intervene.
His sidekick (was it his son ?) returns to the stand glares a few times at the name caller and gets on with watching the match, until about 20 minutes into the second half when he aims a string of obscenities at Robert Green, which attracts the attention of a couple of stewards. He then suggests that this is all down to the abuse the West Ham fans are giving out, which is illegal. 10 minutes later he has had enough and departs.
If this is passion, I think I prefer prawn sandwiches.
