Fifa vice-president Jack Warner said he will battle to stop England hosting the 2018 World Cup. His decision will be a blow to the Football Association, who were likely to plan a bid on the back of any change to the current selection procedures. \"If the World Cup were to go to Europe, I\'m quite sure, with the English luck as it is, they won\'t get it,\" Warner told BBC World Service. \"There are moves to give it to England. I must fight that.\"

Warner, a member of the world football body\'s executive committee since 1983, added: \"It will be Italy, Spain, or even France who will get the World Cup if it goes to Europe. Nobody in Europe likes England. England invented the sport but has never had made any impact on world football.\"

These people in FIFA are so corrupt he's slit his own throat there, the tabloids won't rest until he's been caught with his trousers down leaving a Paris/Madrid/Rome brothel, provided free by whichever country he's lobbying for this week.

Worthing
The BBC did a programme (could have been Panorama) about his very dodgy dealings over World Cup tickets. I guess this is his way of getting back.

Is this the same Jack Warner that the FA are wanting investigating into the way he single-handedly runs CONCACAF, and the corrupt, unfair methods by which he abuses his position to distribute tickets in the way he, and only he, see fit? The same Jack Warner that the toothless, gutless FIFA tolerate because they are equally corrupt and don't want to rock the boat? The same Jack Warner who belted a Panorama reporter and had his security man hassle him when he questioned him about his corrupt activities?

Yup, dat's him.

Thankfully, most of the UEFA mandarins know he is a total cock.

I was just about to post this. I cannot believe anyone in a position of any sort of power can say that! If ever anyone should be sacked for comments that bring the game into disrepute! C_U_N_T!

What bug's me the most about that is that Spain haven't even won the world cup, and france have one it the same amount of time as us!
Also the fact that a whole generation of football fans here have never seen there contary host a world cup where as they have in France and Italy

And Euro 96 was one of the smoothest running tournaments ever.
Everything runs FINE until we get knocked out. SURELY they realise this.

I think FIFA would rather listen to the opinion of someone like Franz Beckenbaur, who backs Englands bid; rather then a ticket tout who was exposed by an English tv programme.

One of the only times we will see a united anglo-german front line.....unless Klose signs for Man U & partners Rooney
