PES is the better game because you have to actually produce things for yourself and work for the ball.
With Fifa, all you have to do is press the button and it automatically shots at goal, on PES you have to position the player, get the angle, accuracy and correct power on the shot. Holding a button for to long or not long enough has serious effects to the result of your play.

Have you even played FIFA?! If you say that in FIFA you don't have to do that then you must be delirious. I played PES the other day on PS2 against this kid, everyone thought I was going to lose. After FIFA, I pissed through that game winning 6-0, one press of X would pass it to my furthest attacking player who would be in the box, two defenders would be behind him, almost on the 6 yard line and all I had to do was take it past one of them, not hard because dribbling is so unrealistically easy on that game and then shoot, with full left angle or full right angle and an average amount of power and goal. That's not working for your goals, it's f***ing boring.
true. with pro evo you can, with ease, stroll past every player on the pitch and slot it home in the top corner.
on fifa, the difference in quality between players is massive. i often play as brighton online against people who are barca. trying to get through puyol etc takes a lot of hard word, and defending against henry isn't easy.
even with the top players on fifa you can not just stroll through everyone and score (unless you are class, like me)

Fifa has improved unbelievably this year.
I've always quite liked Fifa games, but this one is brilliant - it's not easy to win like previous versions.
