Kev, you really can be a fuckwit when it come to threads like these.

PES wasn't even out when I started playing Fotty Sims on consoles and when EA released FIFA, I was hooked straight away. It keeps things more realistic and when the first PES came out I thought it was too 'arcadey' and have never looked back since.
