And that would be the death of the Premier League.

If there was no relegation how long before the first 'dodgy owner' arrived, who decided to spend nothing on infastructure, and worse decided to field a pub team, and pocket the annual £63 million for himself ???

No, the Premier League needs relegation to ensure the quality in the lower 2/3 rds.

Wouldn't stop the other team owners voting such a club out of the league and inviting a lower club to join.

I agree though that the EPL do need the lower leagues but not so much that they would accept the situation where one of their members could be relegated and refused entry to the lower leagues as has been suggested.

No, the Premier League needs relegation to ensure the quality in the lower 2/3 rds.

Would never happen, the PL have a very stringent 'fit and proper' test for chairmen. otherwise you could have corrupt politicians from South East Asia acquiring a club and using it to spirit away ill gotten gains from their country whilst they were being pursued for humans rights abuses and corruption charges....................Oh.
