Towards the end of the match he looked belligerent and just plain angry. Then just now watched Albion players returning to dressing room after the match and he looks downright cheesed off… in dressing room he’s so sullen whilst all around are jubilant. What’s up Ewan?

He didn’t start and was well below par when he came on?

Probably doesn't like people calling him Ewan

Probably had his head turned by a £150m bid from Man Utd

We’re doomed

Maybe he's really annoyed people keep calling him Ewan?

Seriously though it could be nothing more than being disappointed with his performance. He burst onto the scene, the hype for him went up even further when he scored the hat-trick against Newcastle. He's now only scored once since then against Fulham (another goal that equaled a Rooney record and drew even more comparisons). There is a lot of pressure on him and he's going through a run of patchy performances, it happens to every player and its only natural to be a bit down about it. He's a young lad with tremendous self belief though and I'm sure he'll be back and playing with that smile on his face very soon.

Mitoma looked pretty pissed off as well in that video of the players going back into the dressing room

Every single time we play someone, their defenders only have one plan to deal with Ferguson. Boot him around. Whether it's Fabinho, that Chelsea twat, or Berghuis, it's a common theme, Ferguson looks the business but his body isn't ready yet so he can be smashed out a game.

Not once have I seen a ref offer him proper protection. RDZ is managing this right, giving him glimpses of action, but not relying on him. The talent is there, he has the strength, but at that age even his body isn't robust enough to handle the rough stuff he's getting.

Yep, he does seem to be the target of some unnecessary dirty tackles. The Berghuis one last night seems to have gone under the radar but he stamped down on Ferguson’s ankle and you could see the blood coming through his sock.
