Typical Leaky-Arsed Fergie, he has been allowed to throw his weight around for so long now this comes as no surprise. The list of shame goes on and on, The motorway "toilet" incident, the mind games, the subtle accusations of referee's bias or cheating, the refusal to talk to the BBC. The
rants against the league fixture list. trying to screw stud fee's from The Magners despite being worth millions.... All power corrupts and, absolute power....

I think the lesson here is not to employ darren Ferguson in the first place. Honestly, why would you risk annoying his daddy when there are plenty of other patchy managers you could employ who would take man utd loan players and not provoke a flounce if they were then sacked.

I feel sorry for the players. They had first team Championship football, now they have an uncertain future and all because Fergie feels aggrieved. I also feel a bit sorry for Ferguson Jnr; he'll never lose the tag of being Sir Alex's son first and a football manager second if his dad carries on like this.

Awful decision by Fergie

Thought the idea of loans to the parent club was to enhance thecareers of their players. Apparently the loan players wanted to stay at Preston.

Added to this spite by Fergie, they are going to see if they can break the legally binding season-long loan of a third player.

So because fergies son was shit at Preston, what a good idea...ruin the chances of three of their players in return.

Just cannot see how this will help his son with future employment.

Both of the Fergusons are horrible, horrible men.

Sorry, but they are his players, he recalls them as he wishes. All sorts of dealings go on in football due to the 'Old pals act' so let's not make fergie sound like a spoilt brat. Anyone remember Beeney moving to Leeds(convenient) and Virgo off to Celtic?

Exactly - if my memory serves me correctly didn't Fergie loan Paul McShane to his old pal McGhee for 05/06 season.........Palace 0 - 1 Albion (McShane 79) - and we weren't worried about mates favours then!

Wonder how we would feel if huddersfield sack Lee Clark and give the job to Fergusons son because he,ll guarantee bringing his dads players with him....?

Who,s supposed to be deciding our leagues....our own managers/chairmen/supporters/players......or that **** Ferguson....?

When top clubs send young players out on loan they are not doing anybody a favour, they hope the players return as better players after the experience. When deciding whether to lend a player to another club is is normal to consider the type of coaching as well as the match experience the player will receive. I think it is reasonable for Man U to reconsider their position when the coaching set up at PNE changed. However in this case it does seem like spite has played a large part in the decision.

Typical, Power mad Ferguson, no doubt he is already doing the rounds promising players if his son
is given a managers position.
Its about time action is taken regarding his attitude to the BBC

To be honest Pishhead, I wouldn't have expected him to do anything, other than this, given his track record over his other son with the BBC.

I have a son and don't expect I would be happy if I felt he had mis-treated in any way, not sure that is the case here, although there comes a point when your off-spring have to stand on their own two feet, our one is only 14 at the moment so I wont be too hard on him yet. Having read Fergies book he very much subscribes to that ideology.

Still Fergie should remember its a results based business and had it not been for a certain Mark Robins scoring the winner at Notts Forest all those years ago, he would have been out himself !!

This is just my opinion, but looking at the bottom of that league I think Preston may have pushed the button just a tad slightly early unless they have an immediate replacement who can bring players in straight away. I'm sure if push came to shove his Dad may well have shipped another player or two to him later in January if things weren't improving.

Anyway this is a Seagulls board, lets get back to discussing about gods chosen ones

You could understand it if Darren had been unfairly sacked, but preston are having a shocking season and are bottom of the league or thereabouts so why wouldnt they sack him?

This is just Fergie throwing his toys out of the pram and as someone else said, Darren will alwys be known as 'Alex's Son' if he isnt carefull!

Ferguson had less than 12 months as manager at Preston so if the board want to be trigger happy then they suffer the consequences, they knew having Fergie Junior as manager they could tap into the United youngsters and facilities so more fool them for sacking him.
Same with Gus, we get players like LuaLua that wouldn't have touched us if Salde and White were anywhere near the coaching jobs.
