How about us and Man Utd have a gentleman's bet on the game on Saturday.

Loser has to back out of the Kadioglu deal.

If it's a draw, we do a penalty shoot out after the fans have gone

So? I want us to sign Salah but doesn’t mean anything
The manc imbecile claim’s he has found a Turkish source that indicates talks are planned between Ferdi’s representatives and Manure.

What’s actually happening is that vaguely trusted Turkish twitter accounts (those with over 1m followers) are claiming he is close to coming here. There are a number of other Turkish accounts copying this info:

I couldn’t even find this manc twot’s source.

My reckoning is that they are looking to secure his replacement before letting him go. They will find it harder to do so once he has left for a record fee.
Edit, by harder, I mean harder to buy at a good fee.

Is this whole deal becoming too complicated and drawn out?

We could always walk away from it, leave the offer on the table and leave the door ajar.

If he comes back to us at a later date, we can consider it in the light of our requirements at that point.

He is just reporting the iffy Turkish reports, and also says he doesn't believe it.

Christ, we might have another 12 twelve days of this bartering/posturing to endure. Right up until 11pm on the Friday.
Should be sorted either way this week as they would hope to get a replacement in or we would need to look at an alternative.

Don't think Manchester United wants him after the Mazroui signing.

I think the situation is that Fenerbahce wants and needs as much money as they can possibly get. They want some random club to pop up and pay the £40m or whatever they might be hoping for. But I don't think that will happen.

Most likely he'll be a Brighton player but it might take until deadline day.

is it?

Who knows apart from those directly involved. It may or may not be going exactly to plan for all parties.

The supposed Utd interest appears to be only from an unknown source. Not one main news outlet here has mentioned it.

No.
This is what we do better than most other clubs.
TB is a proven master at it.

The easy option is to walk away and sign a player of less talent who would agree to any deal to join us.
