I wasn't paying that much attention as the conversation was concerning Man City. But the people involved were a MENews reporter, and the fella in question, who was perviously high up, behind the scenes, at City.

Anyho fella gets completely the wrong end of the stick, regarding 1 question, and goes off on a massive, cast iron, 100%, there really was no doubt in his mind, that Mourinho, will be the next manager of Utd.

Not something that bothers me, in the slightest, but this fella sounded as if he would bet his own life on it.

that MEN is a very average newspaper indeed! a free paper given out on the street is never going to be worthwile unless your homeless and need it for insulation!

I was listening to that as well. It was followed with a sort of stunned silence from the rest of the guests in the studio. You're quite right, the reporter did seem 100% that it was already a done deal...

Can you get odds on 'the next Utd manager'.
If so, what are they on the special one.

The guy was adament he was in line for Utd.

Which I guess is why the thread title has Re Utd, in it.
And I make 2 other references to Utd in the my comments, inc the one you have asked the question about. :dunce:

:glare:

I can see why there was an element of confusion.

Except that has no reference to the point in question.
In order to make sense of the thread, namely Mourinho and Utd, you have to read the 2nd paragraph, above.

My 2nd comment only has 18 words in it 2 of those being Utd, and Mourinho. Leaving just 16 words none of which are City.

Once again I stand by my :dunce: and raise you a :tosser:
