Seemingly nobody has done a proper 'Adams Out' thread. Well here's one.

I'm not even particularly anti-Adams. But he had a shocker today.

Why did he not bring on McLeod/Cox? We had ONE shot at goal that wasn't from a set piece. ONE. That alone is disgusting, but to play Murray and no widemen is just embarrassing.

4-3-3 - er, what? WHAT is the point on having Fleetwood/Murray/Forster out wide? Absolute joke. Ideally, Glenn should be in the middle, but what's the point with no wingers? He can't exactly cross to himself!!

It was OBVIOUS that Thornton (class act in general, today in the first half) was being targeted in the second half. Call the ref a disgrace all you want, but it was a disgrace to me that Adams had no answer to the problem of Thornton being man marked. Put him out wide, or even take him off, but what's the point on having him being pushed off the ball in the middle of the park?

Anyinsah - shit. Why didn't he come off at half time?

And I repeat again, and why the lack of subs? Adams had a complete Wilkins there. Cox AND McLard on the bench? Shambles. Absolutel shambles.

Sorry Mickey, but You peaked YEARS ago. And that was only because of Bobby Z. Do the decent thing and call it a day. I don't like being negative, but you've lost the plot.

Makes a change from "North Stand Crap" I suppose.

Even WILKINS had more of a clue then Adams. He can f*** RIGHT OFF.

Ok, I'll try to answer somewhat seriously.

Which was the shot on target? The one that Murray hit the bar with, Whing's effort from 20 yards, or Anyinsah's early in the second half? You're either exaggerating or forgetful.

The ref was dismal, but what exactly would you have done? Thornton prompted everything that was good in the first half. Taking him off because he's being targeted is silly. He still provided us with plenty of spark in the second half?

Anyinsah did go off. Who else would you have taken off, and who for? I don't think anyone was having a mare really.

Forster should have scored a penalty, and we hit the bar twice. They threatened once, and scored. We didn't, but I've seen us play a whole lot worse than that, and win.

Apologies, I was referring to the second half in my post. The first half, dare I say it, was a GOOD performance, and it would have been an AMAZING goal iff Murray's had gone in.

In the second, we created nothing - our chances were the free kick and a penalty. Perhaps I'm forgetful, but I recall NOTHING from Anyinsah, other than a shot easily blocked by the defender.

Thornton - he's class, but Adams had no answer to the fact that if he's targeted in the middle of the park then he's hopeless. So why not put him left wing?!

Subs - Cox? McLeod? WINGERS who can create chances. Johnson was HOPELESS, as were Anyinsah and Forster. How those two didn't get on instead of them I don't know.

We may not have played 'badly', but we didn't play well, and when it leaves u 17th in the league, it's really not good enough.
