Both Hero and Prophet are subjective and without clarification denote acceptance. If you accept Mohammed as prophet you are a muslim and for example that jesus was not crucified.

I think you have a point there. Mohammad is not a prophet to me, he is just some geezer from Abrahams illigitimate linage who married a pre-pubescent girl. Similarly, e.g., in reporting of suicide bombers in the West Bank, the BBC likes to record the suicide bombers as casualties. The BBC is definately anti-semitic in its news coverage.

You could also make the same argument though about a number of other "issues" such a global warming, third world debt, international government. However, you would expect the media to be biased or, at least, adopt a particular stance/position. Otherwise it would all be like the independant and that is just a waste of paper.
