Come one, people. Eastleigh v Hartlepools on BT Sport.

Abdoulai Baggie, crazy name, crazy guy. And with Ben Scorey in the side there's bound to be goals.

I can't wait.

Thought I would have a look at what options were on Sky today. International weekend normally means a chance for some League One or League Two games. But not for Sky today.

2pm San Marino v Gibraltar
5pm Cyprus v Luxembourg

:ffsparr:

That's going to be difficult to predict a scoreline between these two giants :D

What time are the highlights on for San Marino 0 - 0 Gibraltar that took place earlier?

(Sorry if I've ruined anyone's Saturday night by revealing the score)

I liked it when I went. But I went to a lake resort to Wind Surf and Water Ski.

Around the Central Station shocked me. I was expecting it to be beautiful nice and clean but it was full of Drug Addicts and people begging.

I know that's not abnormal for large city stations but I had a picture in my mind before I went there that Luxembourg City would be like a sort of Disney World type Castle City. It most certainly was not.

I've been to Cyprus, but went to Nicosia on business rather than your traditional Brit on the Piss holiday. Absolutely amazing place chock full of culture and very, very good food. Plus they still get Wednesday afternoon off. Would have been team Cyprus had I not had an absolutely huge list of jobs to do around the gaff :(

I watched that too - at least until it was abandoned at half time. Some of the worst conditions I've seen for many a year.

Indeed. And I hadn't realised the game was off till I noticed the half time waffle had been going on for 45 minutes :mad: :lolol:

Sky may have served up dross but thank God BT1 saved the day by showing the Manchester derby. What did everyone think of the match?

Because it’s also keeping them all in jobs.

Money. All those fat TV deals between UEFA and different tv companies and the FAs and different tv companies.

In a lot of countries - probably not England - selling the rights to international games is the number one source of income, money that - if everything is as it should - usually ends up at the clubs, more needed now than ever. Governments know that if their national FAs cant save the clubs, someone else (they) will need to do it or people will get really angry. So they nod and agree.

Because it’s also keeping them all in jobs.

While perhaps technically true, this is very unlikely to be the reason. Infantino with comrades are not thinking "we need to play football in order to save the hotel room cleaners!"
