this is bollox , if we had been given just the 10% away to villa last season we would be making the same noises as the mancs are now , fuxake give them what they are entitled to at the very least , talk about making a rod for their own backs if this is on police advice then the police have scored a massive own goal , suprise suprise .

I get what you're sayin Taybha but did the police in birmingham have any reason to advise villa to restrict our ticket numbers - I suspect not.

But, if in another sentence ppl are saying that we have a decreased allocation bc we won't stay off the pitch. This would mean do to unfortunate (and all be it necessary) times you have invaded the pitch, birmingham police would have had the same reason for your allotment to be decreased

You have to put it in context. Remember that their brethren are the ones, paying Glazer £800 for a United Season Ticket, then turning up in a Norwich scarf to 'protest'.

Some people on here have slagged off fc fans for "walking out" and "not fighting from within like Brighton did" now the people who stayed at Old trafford are also being slagged off.. you can't win really???

That wasn't a fortnight before we played villa, and I'm pretty sure we had points docked way back for pitch invasions in '97.

Incidentally an allotment is where you plant your veg mate

....once again please and in English, this time.

sorry:p

Ppl are say:ping we cant stay off the pitch taht is why are tickets were decreased
Someone said Birmingham police would have had no reason to advise villa to limit your allotment
Brighton fans invaded pitch and tore down goalposts (and I completely agree and understand the meaning behind it, I am just saying)
So, wouldnt birmingham police be able to give same advise brighton police gave about pitch invasion

Allotment (gardening), a small area of land, let out at a nominal yearly rent by local government or independent allotment associations, for individuals to grow their own food

But joking aside you must see the point

The pitch invasion you speak of was in 1997 and the club were punished for it.

Er 13 years difference between events rather than less than a month. People have short memories in football. But not that short.

Ps youre not exactly man utd are you? Let's see if you sell 500 seats firstly. My advice stay away from withdean even our chairman said tue away end is in Worthing. If you do come, bring a radio so you can tune in and know what's going on during the game. Yes it is that bad my friend!

Is English your first language? Seriously, I had to read it three times before I made sense of it. Is the gist of your argument that you are moaning that the Brum police didn't restrict sales to Albion fans even though we also invaded our pitch 14 years ago?

Christ, even I don't bear grudges that long. You invaded a pitch and you'd likely do it again if you win at Withdean. There's a lot of people who really hate Man U in all and any form and the sight of a Man U tribute act fan giving me the big one at my ground is likely to anger me. Times that by a few thousand and there's your reason.

By page 14 of this thread I just gave up and sort of lost the will to live.

If the rules state 15% then they should have 15%

If the club is only offering 10% thet should state why. Preferably before a thread like this gets started.

Why all the name calling? Would it not be a lot better to out sing them during the match, beat them on the pitch but stand shoulder to shoulder as fans united?

Thats too bad.

I have actually been reading up about Brighton bc I honestly did not know too much about the history of the club.

Fair play for what you lot did around that time. I really didn't fully have an idea of the bullshit you went through in the mid 90s.

Ya i understand the difference and it was just throwing out a point all be it perhaps not a strong one. Will defintely sell the 845 and should be a good day out. Have heard a lot of stories about the Worthing stand (something about worhting being like 10 miles away right). We're actually having a laugh about having to bring binoculars:lolol:

They are know as the war years. Not too dramatically either. Awful awful dispairing days. Our story is unique. And well documented. But nearly forgotten now. Take what portsmouth went through and multiply by much much worse and you're getting close to our situation.
