You don't come across as a football supporter tbh, you come across as the reason why REAL football supporters the length and breadth of this country despise Man United and everything they stand for, the "I'm Charlie big bollocks look at me with my green and yellow scarf on" bullshit that NOBODY cares about.
WE are a REAL football club with REAL history and REAL fans and when OUR club faced adversity we fought it together instead of running away to start a new team.
Your arrogance is overwhelming and I just hope our superior footballing ability will take us to the 3rd round and that we don't have to endure your "massive club" mentality from a bunch of non league wannabes ever again.

Genuine question.....why didn't your fans try to buy the club off the people who f***ed your club over..??

I still think they should have the away end. In 1983 we had to put up with there sister's club supporters in our end for the final an they were a bunch of dicks. then in the replay there in our end and it kicked of inside wembley( lower tier and they got battered) so sod em , glad they not having more who the f do they think they are ....FCUM

Probably is not relevant, buy J block is no longer avilable for this game. J block is always the LAST to sell out!

Could be that the whole of J Block has netting over it for segregation purposes. If there was a pitch invasion by FCUM fans no doubt elements in H & J would do likewise.

They wanted the club to fold, hence sending us to Gillingham having sold the Goldstone, which was then sold on for over three times the amount a few months later..draw your own conclusions as to where that money went. ( 6.8ish million to pay off the debts, knock the ground down and hey presto it's sold again for 23ish million)

Dick Knight did, eventually, manage to buy the £57 club off Bill Archer for a million or so, about a year or so later.

Someone with a much more precise run down will be along soon

Your colleagues keep telling us to look up your history and your ethos.

You go and look up our history. Then you see how dumb that question is.

The short answer is... he didn't want to sell. He wanted to close it down.

It's okay, they were all Man United fans then, LOVING the Premiership and all the money it brought in to their club. Didn't care much for anything outside of the top 4 back then *

*This may or may not be said with tongue in cheek

That is exactly what happened-for fans, read consortium headed by a fan-after we'd driven the bastards out. If that hadn't have happened we'd be without a club in the position we're now in.

Heres what an FCUM sopported on their website said about us putting them in the west stand:

TBH , allocation acceptable or not, that stand positioning for football viewing is a disgrace. They should be paying us, what a tin pot sack of shite BHA are turning out to be.

Will I still go if I can ? But of course

Well well well...

Point of order...

How many people wearing Manchester United shirts turned up on Fans United day in 1997?

I seem to recall seeing... NONE.

That's bang out of order-I saw 3 people in ManUre shirts getting off the 2a from Shoreham Beach.

Just seen this thread. 3 quick questions:

1)Why might they boycott the game?

2)How the hell has the thread managed to last 18 pages?

3) Is it worth reading?

1) For whatever reason, not totally clear yet, we have not given them 15% of the ground

2) The arrogance that comes from being involved with Manchester United has rubbed off onto their non league tribute club and has pissed a few on here off.

3) probably not

3) Is it worth reading?

1) Because they got 10% and not 15% of tickets at Withdean
2) Why does night follow day?
3) Only if you have time to kill

I would just like to point out that I bear no ill will towards FCUM, indeed I have a friend who attends their matches. I just take exception to the comments herein from one individual.

Agreed. Please don't take the views and attitudes of one individual as being representative of our whole support.

Thanks Icy! Won't bother reading the shitfest then.
