ESPN usually show 2 replays (until the 3rd round, then it increases to 3), either on the Monday night or a Thursday night.

ITV have no replays until the 3rd round.

It should be but not sure ESPN or whoever can be bothered to arse about waiting to find out if FCUM are willing to sell themselves again

Espn had two replays on in the last round. I would have thought they'll show ours and/or Luton v Charlton.

And if they are only showing one replay what about Luton v Charlton?

There aren't many to choose from ...

Lincoln City v Hereford United
Swindon Town v Crawley Town
FC United v Brighton & Hove Albion
Luton Town v Charlton Athletic

I'm assuming that the delayed first games aren't available in the replay package.

On a train...
I think it may depend on who we get in the next round. If we're away to Hereford or Lincoln then I doubt it. But if we get a premiership club, then I think it's a big possibility.

Wouldn't make any difference to FC and would expect them to take up the offer as long as Brighton was also happy with the deal as well
As its a midweek game its not going to make much difference anyhow
FC are not against tv games as such only against games being moved against the wishes of both clubs and the inconvenience of the supporters`

ah... nice backpedaling i see there.

No you don't. You see that you hadn't understood FCUM's position in the first place.

Oh, I think we understand their position alright. "Boo hoo - I don't like my club playing when the TV chooses, I'm off to form my own club."

5 minutes later, in walks a TV exec bloke and says to fan who now owns his own club - "would you like lots of money to move your match?"

Oh-so principled fan to TV exec - "Oh..go on then, but only if that's okay with Brighton [like they're gonna say no] and as long as I can keep up this pretence that we're different".

TV Exec to plastic manc: "Oh, don't worry. We'll not even mention the word 'sell-out'. We never did when you lot supported Man U"

Plastic manc to TV Exec: "Shh......we still do"

TV Exec to Plastic manc: "Yeah...I saw all the Man U flags with your fans yesterday and heard all the Man U songs. You hide it well...."

repeat ad infinitum...hypocrites

Yes, you have missed the point. They are against the TV companies moving the match date and time to suit the TV scheduling. If the game is played at the ORIGINAL time, then there is no problem.

Oh really?

and as sure as eggs is eggs, a load of TV money certainly makes a game a lot less inconvenient for the people owning the club.

Hypocrites.

*cough*

Wanna move a Rochdale game to Friday night?

Oh, yes - because a Friday night game 5 minutes down the road is so much more convenient than a Saturday afternoon game 5 minutes down the road.

(the same traditional Saturday afternoon games this shower were bemoaning the loss of. First sniff of serious wonga and they just can't help themselves. It's in the blood. They're mancs. There'll be a Far East supporters club within 2 years. )

I take it that you are talking for all Brighton fans then
looks like you have got your selective reading glasses on
A game on tv has to be agreed by both clubs a mid week game would make no difference to any fans going to the game if it was shown or not

try reading again

FC are not against tv games as such only against games being moved against the wishes of both clubs and the inconvenience of the supporters`

Seems to me that some people find it a bit of an alien concept that a club can put the interests of its fans first instead of treating them as just inconvenient paying customers

I read it properly the first time, thankyou.

(No - I don't speak for all Brighton fans, obviously. Stupid comment)
