Let's hope for her sake that she takes the top off that bottle before trying to get through security...

Looks like I am in a minority of one in thinking the original picture was making a joke using a racial stereotype. My apologies.

In my opinion, you are being racist.
There are Muslims of every race and colour on the planet. To assume because the lady in question is dressed in a burka that she must be of Middle Eastern ethnicity, is pandering to racial stereotypes.
#crodinilson is not being racist, Islam is not a race or ethnicity.

I may be totally misunderstanding the current political climate but this is racist.

Disagree.

Racist? Not imo.
Xenophobic? Possibly.
Offensive? It would appear so to at least one person, but not to several others.
Funny, given the Saudi takeover of Toon and the OP's prior form for his regular 'most famous supporter' threads? Yes, imo. Very.

I correctly guessed that something like this was coning crodonilson but it was still a 'LOL' moment.

As regard it being racist, Pondicherry , I'm struggling here. Racism is the assumption of inferiority of one race against another. Much of which is reported as racism isn't. It's a shame as real racism is something that needs to be stopped.

Racial stereo-typing is as old as the planet. I don't really have a problem with much of it. In other parts of the world I have often had English jokes told to me. I wouldn't go to rural Australia if I were you mate. It's all about context and intent.

Anyway, I'm guessing this lady must be a Saudi pin up, or their entry to Miss World.

I understand the context of this thread in relation to previous similar ones. I understand what the joke is. I am not personally in any way offended by the thread or the joke (except the bit where I as called a racist). However, the joke is clearly based on the dress restrictions placed on some Muslim women. If this pictorial joke was circulated in any corporate culture, there would be severe repercussions for anyone circulating it. I am not saying the OP is racist. The joke that constitutes the start of the thread clearly makes fun of Islamic culture Some people would consider it Islamophobic and so racist. I accept that not everyone would call it Islamophobic. I also accept that not everyone accepts that Islamophobia is racist (although many do).

I also thought it was interesting that this thread receives no criticism except from myself and at the same time the Yorkshire Cricket issue (and thread) exists which I suspect originated with low level racial banter and escalated from there.

I understand your point, but…. It’s just not cricket old boy!

Rank pulling of the worst sort. I think you need to walk away from this thread, based as it is on contempt and disdain of Newcastle United and their new masters, rather than any racism?

No disrespec Mona, you may be one of Saudi Arabia's favourite philanthropists but there will be no charity at the Amex tomorrow :lolol: as your boys take one helluva beating.

GPott and the boys are in fine fettle after a hugely impressive point at Anfield and will be straining at a leash to follow that up with 3 pleasing points at home to your relegation cannon fodder.

Come on, another near full house at the Amex, so those of you lucky enough to have tickets, raise the roof for the boys as they aim to go another 3 points closer to the promised land of EPL football 22/23.

:ascarf:

I would
