And the underdog thing. Over the decades they have spent far less that state/bank supported Real, but have won a stack of honours against those financial odds.


Glasgow Rangers - I their patriotism to the UK, and a few years back saw a few games up there. Brilliant following, and Ibrox was ahead of its time.

Whereabouts in Rotterdam where you? Spent a few months in Capelle a/d Ijssel on the outskirts of Rotterdam in the mid 80's. Could just about see Feyenoords ground from ex-father-in-laws flat.

I was living in Den Haag, but couldnt bring myself to support ADO.....The team was generally shit, their support was over violent, and to top it all, wearing green and yellow was not a good look haha so I used to go to De Kuip whilst the missius hit the Rotterdam version of Churchill Square.
