Heard at Anfield by West Ham fans a few years back:

"We've got Di Canio, you've got our stereos"

I also think in the same game West Ham Fans were singing to the same tune

'Sit Down Pinnochio' everytime Phil Thompsom got up to shout orders.

SUNDERLAND!!! LETS DO IT!!!

:clap2:

Oh dear - the filth filter caught me out. Needless to say, the word may be found in the name of a certain League 2 team from Lincolnshire.

I HATE the Pompey chimes - how could anyone like that dirge?
I do like York City's version, though - ey-oop City, City ey-oop (in the required Yorkshire accent, obviously)

Wrexham's Men of Harlech, makes the hairs stand up on your neck!

The Toon Army in full voice with Blaydon Races is also cool.

But the Liverpool Kop singing You'll Never Walk Alone has to be the tops

God forbid no. I'd rather listen to fingers down a blackboard than that dirge, even the 'You'll never get a job version' makes me want to puch someone, preferably a scouser

Yeah actually, At the Donnie - Wrexham match, The wrexham fans sang an old Welsh song (think it was in the film Zulu)

I just looked at OTLW and smiled in pure respect. Hairs on the back of the neck stood up and remember thinking "I wish I knew the words to that!!!"

Sheff Wed's D I Canio to the tune of D I S C O, absolutely brilliant.

Barnet fans singing Beatles songs at Withdean when were humping them 4-0 in the rain (oo er) was hilarious.

Hibs fans singing 'Hail hail' at full blast is a pretty amazing sight, and sound, as is:

for it's a grand old team to play
for it's a grand old team to see
and if, you know, your history
it's enough to make your heart go oh oh oh
we don't care what the animals sing
what the hell do we care
'cos we always know that there's gonna be a show
and the Edinburgh Hibees will be there.

42,000 singing that at Hampden. Ace

That was originally a Spurs and Celtic song.

One of them sung it first but I do not know which. It was a spurs cup final song because I have the vinyl but a mate who was Celtic disputed the fact that Spurs sang it before Celtic.

Best and funiest song by a mile was sung by Man Utd fans on Terry Phelan's return to Old Trafford with Man City. To the tune of 'you've lost that loving feeling':

You've lost your hairline Phelan,
oh woah your hairline Phelan,
You've lost your hairline Phelan,
no it's gone gone gone,
and you can't go on,
Woah oh woah oh oh!

Classic!!

OK. Hail hail is a Celtic song.

Who cares? I heard Hibs sing it and it sounded superb.

We've nicked enough songs down the years but I can't actually think of any at the moment. :jester:

I was only pointing this out to those with thoughts that it could have a Spurs song. There is a certain logic that Hibs could sing it with a fair amount of passion too.

I love it in European Games away from home somewhere like Lazio when you get a really loud "Care Free" ringing around the stadium from Chelsea

No probs.

Hibs fans certainly do sing with a lot of passion. Seen them four times and their support is always very vociferous, much like ours away from home.

I used to like the Newcastle song from years back (in the days when foreign players were still a bit of a rarity..)

His name is Maradinha
He's not from Argentina
He's from Bra-zil
He's f**king brill
