God, they've been responsible for so many brilliant creations I find it impossible to pick a favourite. One of my all-time fave artists & absolutely COLOSSAL live. Marvelous Scenes

'Any Love', just, for me. Although I pretty much cannot fault Blue Lines, the stream of conciousness raps on Five Nation Army, Day Dreaming and Ble Lines are class...
'Trendy Wendy, you know what I mean..'
But, really, I like everything they've done...
Listened to 'Hymn of The Big Wheel' as we crossed into the new millennium (a bit cheesy, but, there you go...)

Unfinished Sympathy is pure musical perfection. One of the few songs of any artist I could put on a continous loop and not get bored of it.

Angel is immense and I love the way it builds up. Horace Andy's vocals are a joy. The same could be said of Terry Callier on 'Live With Me'.

Honourable mentions to 'Safe From Harm' with, like US, Shara Nelson's beautiful voice.

Angel - such a brilliantly dark track that builds up to a fantastic finale. I feckin love MA

Is the correct answer.

Angel is immense and I love the way it builds up. Horace Andy's vocals are a joy.

As is that.

As wonderful as MA are, all their other songs are merely excellent. Angel has no peers, especially when played in a darkened room with the sound turned up to 11*.

*The only other two songs by anyone that sound that good in the same circumstances are Bauhaus's Bela Lugosi's Dead (12" version only please) and UK Decay's hugely under-rated and largely forgotten masterpiece, Werewolf, both of which carry the same fantastic air of menace.
