Some might say your looking back in anger, Whatever.. (do you like what i did there?)
I was at Wembley and it PISSED down all night, ended up getting well lost in London that night, home at about 9am the next day feeling ROTTEN
The Masterplan was an amazing album too
The Masterplan was an amazing album too
To think it was all b sides most bands don't bring out albums of that standard with their best material
Wasn't really an album though, it was the point at which Noel realised he had written 14 or so great songs that were consigned to b-sides of the first 8 singles, which he realised were 10 times better than the stuff he had written for Be Here Now, and still better than the stuff he was coming up with for Standing on the Shoulders of Giants.
Still like 'be here now' just reminds me of earls court but think they sort of lost it after that albumCompletely agree, there were 12 B-sides off the first 4 singles that would have made a great album in their own right. What was heart breaking for me was that they never got back to that amazing formula they had in those first couple of years.
I'm also a massive fan of the Heathern Chemistry album, some blockbusters on there!
