Oooh. If she ever needs a sofa bed in Shoreham, do get her to PM me.

Not your classic beauty but has a certain artistic, Gaelic charm. And she reeks of allure.

She definitely has an unconventional allure, a certain je ne sais quoi, possibly more Gallic than Gaelic though :p:amex: Her in that leather skirt and boots on some catwalk a year or two back, wowser

This is an absolute banger, not to mention the trousers!!

Without question, one of my favourite artists, whose every release I own (including the downloads he used to provide on his website). Bryan Erickson, aka Velvet Acid Christ.

Anyone who also likes this track is a certifiable mentalist like me :lolol:

This isn't an easy listen, for those of a nervous disposition, by the way.

I stumbled into VAC 20 years ago when life was rather rocky. You can guess the rest.

Jonny Otis, Little Richard, John Lee Hooker, Bo Diddley, Fats Domino, Chuck Berry and even by the far end of the spectrum Jimi Hendrix are all favourites of mine.

Not to mention the fact the Stones/Cream/Led Zep all did R&B stuff (usually ripped off from the original artists of course)

What 'R&B' is now described as in 2022 is a complete bastardisation of the original concept.

But despite loving all of the previous artists I am racist according to some on NSC, hey ho...

Jeez, man. Nobody thinks you're racists. You just made an assumption that was baseless. F*** me, I do that two or three times every day! Chill your boots. I still love you.

Love that song, it has the avant-garde feel of her Dad’s music.

Can I mention America's newest Jailbird?

Actually all R&B is crap so that has nailed a fair few 'artists'

I hate it that modern pop and dance music is classified as R&B - a bunch of pouty airheads doing a synchronised dance routine and lots of head-rolling and hip-thrusting to a tinny tune.

I'm Boomer enough to think that R&B is rhythm and blues - Dr Feelgood, George Thorogood and The Destroyers, etc.

Gallic, sorry!

Yes, she's delightful. And in spite of my previous post, has actually doen some great tunes. Paradsico is one I particularly like.

Can't agree more, I didn't mention The Groundhogs and Rory Gallagher who also covered genuine R&B stuff e.g.

Do me a solid, you know what I'm going for here with the spirit of this thread, so don't post "Led Zeppelin" or "Queen" or something which is generally considered good.

I'll kick it off with Katy Perry

Can't sing, not particularly attractive, songs are shit commercial fluff. Love it.

Brighton factually.....

How very dare…

As a young lad aged 5 or 6 I loved western movies and as luck would have it, my dad had this album along with several others and lots of Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins is a legend, far better voice than cash actually.
Bit of hero of mine ol’Marty

If you want the version with the decolletage spilling over the threshold of ill-filling material you'll have to google it. This version is musicaly superior  ???
