CRACKING news he is gone but we did have SOME good times with the inept Scot...

Obviously the play off games spring to mind but my top three would be:

Away at Selhurst last season - showed the fighting team spirit which had carried us so far but was sadly lacking for the tail end of last season.

Away to West Ham - Just a MINT day out.

Away to Sheffield United - Paul Reid playing a sublime ball through to Leon Knight for a last minute winner. Knight at his best, Reid being used in the midfield position he should have been and even Mark McCammon playing his part by dragging a defender away to create space.

Also, Spurs away deserves a mention. We FINALLY got the ball on the floor and more then matched a decent Premiership team over 90 minutes.

I find myself in complete agreement with you sir. The Sheffield United game and day out in general was fantastic.

It was a great day. Not only did some guy from Southern Counties randomly give me free tickets outside the ground but some northern monkey and his nipper made my day by calling me a poncy dressed faggott outside the ground.

CRACKING day.

Think you've summed most of them up...but there were some cracking matches against Leeds - notably the two wins at Withdean, and the 3-3 draw at Withdean when (going forward at least) we were immense!

Probably the best game Seb Carole will ever have at Elland Road...

Got to agree with Arthur, the Swindon home play-off game was absolutely unforgettable though Palace away was the top highlight for me.

Very, very, nearly stuffing Leeds 3-2 away. (Drawn deep into injury time after minutes of 21 players in our half)

How about winning at teams like Leicester and Forest in that first Championship season. Beating Sunderland at home with ten men. Playing at great grounds and taking us to our highest league position for 14/15 years.

Getting caught up in all the anti-McGhee diatribe makes people forget how popular he was even this time last year. People like you need to wake up and realise that it is not all going to be perfect from now on. Or will we win 10-0 at Millwall tomorrow now McGhee has gone.

As I couldnt make the Palace game....

Sheff Utd Away - I remember all the Sheff Utd fans leaving early as they thought they had a point in the bag, then THAT man scored THAT goal:clap2:

Leeds Away (Last Season) - Ok so we only got a point but thats the last time I remember us playing really decent attacking football...Note to self, Leeds fans are very easy to wind up!:lolol:
