Well said Ritchie, all this dull middle of the road singer/songwriter ballard shit is f***ing rubbish but people lap it up. Why?

Forgot about Go! Team. What was the name of the song which had the video featuring the skipping rope competitions. Awesome tune.

Just seen a gig is coming in Tokyo and up includes ordinary boys and Supergrass as well as dead 60s, Little Flames Test Icicles and Great Adventure. Anyone know anything about the final 4 bands, am out of touch with the Britsh Music scene.

For starters The Ordinary Boys will be ACE and are MASSIVE in the Far East.

The Dead 60s are certainly worth checking out. Very new ska sound and good live.

Sounds like a TOP gig.

Dust of your Fred Perry and your skanking shoes and get down to it Culvers.

The Dead 60s album is pretty good.

If you can download mp3s check out Riot Radio. Their debut single and pretty much sums up their sound.

Im jealous. Sounds like a CRACKER.

What is the point of starting a thread asking 'What are you favourite five TRACKS from this year?' and then having a go at those posting songs YOU don't like.

There is only one point and that's so that you can try to make yourself look like some arbiter of good taste and make everyone else not posting a band you DEEM worthy enough a fool.

FFS.
