[Tricky Dicky]

The good thing about the Sky team is that they are all ex-players, mainly ones who were very successful. I never have a problem listening to people who you know have "done it" at the top level, you know that they know what they're talking about. Most of them are relatively recent players too - well, within my lifetime anyway.

It was very good to hear Warne yesterday - very knowledable and articulate (for an aussie!)

I feel like im the only one who likes Paul Allott (apart from whoever voted for him!)

Quite a jokey style and very good hosting the cricket writers programme on sky on Sunday morning

I voted for him on the basis that's he brings the TMS vibe to Sky Sports for run-of-the mill county games

I find Atherton the most intelligent and aware of what is going on in the game so I chose him. Holding and Bumble with honorary mentions.

As TCB mentions as far as commentators go the difference between cricket and football ones couldn't be greater. The worst cricket commentator is Botham and even he's not THAT bad.

I went for Holding because I love his voice; Bumble to me always comes over as the bastard love child of Brian Johnstone and Thora Hird (not that there's anything wrong with that mind), but I like all of them; certainly none of them wind me up as much as John "ha ha Trevor" Motson and all those dickheads they have on Sky.
