My favourite Springsteen song is the one he didn't sing - the one that Patti Smith(?) sang - because the night belongs to lovers - could have got the title wrong too. Not being very clear here, am I!

"Because the Night" is the name - the Patti Smith version is superb but IMHO the live version by him and the E-Street Band on the "Live 1975-85" album blows it away.
