what is your favourite brighton kit?!

for myself i am rather fond...of the 1997 blue and white sandtex strip along with the away black and blue. that was a good year for kit making.

The home shirt from the play-off final season, although this year's is good too.

The black away kit was probably my fav away one.

I cannot stand a change strip that is ether Red & Black, Blue & Black or Green & Black stripes. Change strip for me should be plain one colour with perhaps another colour edging.

I like the Blue and White home kit as shown on my desk top and worn by Peter Ward.

The best change strip is either this years or the white one that Freddie Goodwin brought in which was very similar.

Best one for me was the all ble Addidas one of the early 80s. Pity it was spoilt by the fact it had BCal on the front. (Did you know that BCal only ever flew the team once and that was by helicopter to Wembley ? They were actually flown by Dan Air in an HS748 turbo prop for other trips).

Did we not take part in an end of season tour/party in Hong Kong that B Cal provided the travel and a a watch company , possibly Seiko paid the rest? Possibly after we got promotion to the 1st Division.

The picture of Peter Ward posted above is the one I referred to earlier.
