I love the music of Destiny's Child too. And Beyonce.

Most of them I'm not sure about Floyd but They Might Be Giants, Pet Shop Boys, XTC, Genesis, Squeeze, The Weddoes, list goes on. Then there's my extreme fondness for J-pop and J-rock. And videogames OSTs

Though I suppose it depends who you're asking if they're cool.

Duran Duran's Rio album still holds up well now.

Away from all the boy band hype at the time, it was really good music from the usual instruments to the unusual.
(Simon playing the ocarina at the end of 'The Chauffeur').

John Taylor's bass playing has always been highly underrated.

And the sax solos in the middle and at the end from 5:00 sound great.

Judith Durham, The Seekers. Such a pure voice that could cut glass. Loveliness personified.


Jay Siegel, The Tokens. What a range. What harmonies.
