I won't make it into a poll because people will start going on about how I've left the bestone out and stuff coz you lot are BINNERS so just enter your own choice in.

My favourite animated film is Ice Age, it's a story about a mammoth and a tlittle creature that i don't remember the name of who find a baby and try to return it to the humans while a tiger is trying to lead them off course and get the baby so that him and his tiger friends can eat it. It's funny, sad and heart warming all at the same time and a great watch for all the family.

Much better than Shrek.

What about you?

Jungle Book - Baloo is the best character in all the animated films I've seen.

The first Toy Story, cos it set new standards in animation. And I LOVED the chase with the removals van at the end, superb.

oh bugger whats that one wwhere it starts in real-life with the boy, he falls in the river and gets carried away with some fish or something? Vaugely (sp?) remember it from the 80's, that was good!

As for Computer animated then i'm with Easy, Toy Story is not only class but set the standards.

Akira.

Brilliant animation & artwork - absolutely pisses over anything Disney et al have ever produced. And the parodic elements are a fan of animation's wettest dream.

I actually prefer Miyazaki as an animator, but I have rarely been convinced by a whole film of his. The car chase in 'The Castle of Cagliostro' is still, 25 years after its release, one of the greatest pieces of animation ever. Similarly, other animators must dream of being able to put together some of the sections in 'Princess Mononoke'.
