Eisern Union?

I saw them a few times when I was weighing up my options but as a Withdean season ticket holder at the time I decided a nice seat on the halfway line in the main stand (for the same price as Withdean!) and the higher standard of football was a far better propersition. It is also quicker for me to get home as there a plenty of fast and direct trains to Friedrichstrasse.

Hamrun Spartans ,Malta sadly now playing at 3rd tier level in Malta.Other than that used to go up a few times a season between 92 and 02 to watch the original Airdrieonians, many a good alcohol induced days on a Section B bus.I also keep an eye out for Hadjuk Split as The Poljud Stadium with 39,000 packed in was the best atmosphere was the best i've sampled.

Delfino Pescara 1936. Seaside resort, play in blue and white stripes, were shafted by their previous owner (albeit, in their case, by losing all his money at the casino as opposed to asset stripping, allegedly). Ring any bells?

Don't get this. I support Albion. That's it. Not interested in 'following' other teams, especially from abroad.

Oh l don't know. I think there is a big difference between actually supporting a club, i.e. the Albion, and following the results of another.

Me?, l follow the results of Coleraine in Northern Ireland, and Belenenses in Portugal. It certainly doesn't impinge on my love for the Albion though!

Guernsey, if anyone gets the chance to go over there with their local Ryman South team, its well worth a visit, very modern main stand and bar although its a 'running track' stadium. Friendly locals, large vocal crowd (for that level) no excessive bad language or aggression, disappointed they didn't come up with us last season.

I like watching the bundeslega as the tempo of football is always very fast and attacking. Other than that wkd probably say Real Madrid and Barcelona but just because of the real class and skill there players have. Always interesting to watch

FC St Pauli (though they've been becoming a lot more commercial recently), and a soft spot for die Eisener Union Berlin.

Interesting about the Polish team alliance and the background to it, especially as Krakow and Wroclaw aren't too far apart.

Always liked Fiorentina in Italy. Partly because of their purple kit and partly because of the years that Gabriel Batistuta played up front for them and scored a bagful of goals for them, even while they were in Serie B and he was one of the best centre forwards in the world at the time.
