If you said I could only eat one for the rest of my life I'd say Cheddar. It is the king of cheeses.

However for a treat I like any Wensleydale. Spent a very pleasant morning at the cheese factory in Wensleydale and ate a lot of cheese samples. Some great varieties there.

There is just one room full of squares of cheese (probably 50+) to try. I came out of their much fatter. Great story about the place as well, saved by one man from going bust many years ago. Sweet place.

Was thinking the other day I need to take the family up there when this is all over

Roquefort - the queen of cheeses.

I voted Roquefort too, but I was told categorically many (45?) years ago that Stilton is the best cheese there is.

Rogue River Blue Is my favourite . Been around I think about 20 years . Made in Oregon , it tastes fantastic.

Did you know, Yarg was first made by the Gray family , who named it Yarg which is Gray backwards.
