That's sad.

To be fair, having thought I'd discovered the truth, when I was about 8 there was a ring on our front doorbell and Father Christmas was there to bring my sister and I a Tom & Jerry jigsaw each. And my dad was also in the living room at the time, so it couldn't be him. To this day, 45 years later, I've still no idea who that Father Christmas was...
