Hooray I have got my six tickets - I've just realised I've got a Norton Anti Spam folder and my confirmation email was sitting in there!

Hope he gets them all removed or people f*** up the bidding bang out of order to sell them on e-Bay as it is for any tickets sold on there unless you have good reason why you cannot go

Free market economy innit.

The 'Brighton only' bit was obviously just to keep the Police/council happy - and they're obvious not clued up enough to realise that tickets bought by people living in BN can easily be re-sold to people anywhere.

If they really cared, they would have introduced a Glastonbury-style ID system. Too late to change conditions of use/sale now.

Whatever, I'm sure FBS and Skint don't give a shit.

I don't reackon it'll be hard or expensive to get tickets nearer the time. So many people have bought additional tickets hoping to make a profit that I reckon they might struggle to sell them.

I've been in the dance tent at Glasto a couple of times for FBS but couldn't be arsed to stump up £30 for this.

I think buying a spare pair and making a few quid on ebay is ok, but some twat has bought 16 somehow and all are on ebay, username weddingable or something. I've complained to the organisers and hope he gets found out. After all, he hasn't actually got his tickets yet.
Meanwhile loads of people I know can't get tickets! Hardly in the spirit of local gig for local people. How would we feel if he bought 16 tickets to a big Withdean game and stuck em on ebay at 60 quid each?

Market forces at work i'm afraid.

Anyway, the organisers have created this situation by enabling everyone to purchase 8 tickets. Maybe should have been limited to max of 2?

I purchased 4 tickets yesterday. They for me and my wife and two friends of ours in the local area. We had the chance to buy another 4 or even another 8 on top of that to try and make a fast buck on e-bay but it's just denying other local people a chance to go by doing that isn't it?

The people who do that are just ticket touts, plain and simple. They'd probably rob your gran rather than help her across the road!

the ticket buying page is back open, so maybe more on sale if anyone missed out

I'm never sure what is best, 2 per person or 8 per person? I got all the tickets I needed for this event in one call. Had it been two per person I am sure there would have been some of our party disappointed and having to go to ebay or something.

Also, on the supply and demand argument: more touts with tickets means they will have to charge less?

Personally I think this kind of profiteering should be stopped, but how?

I would never sell any ticket of mine above face value.
