His gig in Athens was no doubt class for those who managed to get in, but the choice of venue was shambolic. They oversold the venue and refused to let a lot in who had pre-booked tickets. Queue was around the block for a long time, by which point everyone had sobered up.

My group all had tickets, saw the queue and decided to swerve it and just drink in central Athens. Based on that we'll be giving this one a miss too. Nice idea in principle but if anything like Athens it'll be hard work.

Agree that it was a complete shambles, but also a case of persistence. I ended up having a drink at the bar over the road for what should have been the first 40mins of FBS's set, by which point the queue had gone and I went back over the road and got straight in. As his set had been delayed by 30mins, I'd only missed the first 10mins of his show in the end.

Would absolutely have been up for it again if not for an early flight on Friday morning. Rather have a chill few drinks after the game (whether I get a ticket or not for it TBD) with the group I'm travelling with on this occassion.
