If you want to kill yourself, then why don't they jump off Beachy Head, hang yourself or even cut your own wrists. Instead of delaying Transport Times!

MAKES ME SO f***ing ANGRY!

:jester:

The first one is also pretty selfish. I imagine a hell of a mess for someone to clear up.

I am a coward so couldnt contemplate suicide whatever the reason but if I was going to do it, it would have to be a drug overdose or poison where I went to sleep and didnt wake up.

I was discussing this with a mate the other day and we decided that the 2 best ways to go would to be

A) jump of a really high building so you could get that adreneline rush of free falling

B) jumping infront of a packed commuter train just to give a 'f*** you' to all the people going to work!

Aj - you might get half way down and think "this is fun, I'd like to do it again, Doh !"

my best friends dad commited suicide a few years ago, he gassed himself in his car. I cant imagine what goes thought a persons mind to come to a conculsion that ending your life is the only option.

my friends husband walked infront of a train at Yapton (between Ford and Barnham) 18 months ago - anyone calling them a selfish fucker really needs a lesson in life

imagine how low someone has to be to go through with it. - mental illness isn't laughable - someone doesn't just choose to be miserable in those instances.

imagine waking up ever morning hurting physically and mentally over many years even decades. you lose all track of morality as you can't see why life is treating you this way when everyone else "appears" to be having a fab life. this is why they jump infront of trains - not to upset others and delay them necessarally - but they lose mental focus of any consequence !!

the sad fuckers in this life are ones with flippant comments - even if it is just a football message board

And breathe, two........ three..... !!!

Maybe not suicide.............

A man was killed when he was hit by a train travelling at about 60mph.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, died after being hit at the Lakes Lane crossing between Barnham and Ford stations, at about 10.11am today.

He was struck by the 8.17am London Victoria to Southampton train and was pronounced dead at the scene.

advertisementBritish Transport Police are not treating the death as suspicious and are preparing a report for the coroner.

Services were disrupted for about an hour, and the line was re-opened at about 11.20am.

If the death is'nt being treated as suspicious and the line was only shut for an hour then it will be suicide.

Stop making excuses for the selfish fucker.

I had a night out ruined because of one. Well it was delayed by a few hours and I had to go into a student club still sober. I had to work hard & fast to recifity the damage the selfish fucker did to my evening.

Thats fairly conclusive that it is.

Seems to be a WEST Sussex thing, that Death By Rail thing. Seems to rarely happen in EAST Sussex. Why is that? More stations out West? More complacency? More suicidal people?

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
I just dont buy into all this suicide thing.

There is not a single situation in Life you cannot get over by putting your mind to it, and I say that with a little experience myself.

Its an EASY way out for SAPS.

complete load of bollocks- can you not grasp what mental illness is ! - its someone who loses sense of reality and perspective of life often over many years, not just a few crap winter months or relationship junk . it's not like the case of "oh snap out of it, you'll get over it " - its not an "EASY way out for SAPS"

i take it you've never known anyone close who has killed themselves. its like living under a cloud of pain.

Maybe you'll have the pleasure one day , although you'll probably bang on about it being a loser thing and survival of the fittest eh in this take take non compassionite society

f*** Wit is probably too complimentary to you, but i'll pass your comments on to my friend, who also lost her son 17 years ago - also to suicide !! (And no - she isn't a mare to live with ! )

I don't understand how anyone would want to commit suicide however I have never had a mental illness.

A friend at work's husband suffers from severe bouts of depression and it seems a very bleak time for her (let alone him) when it happens.

Suffice to say I don't think anyone should judge these things unless they understand the issues.

No way is suicide an easy way out, it must take alot of bottle to finally make the leap or pull the trigger, it's the last decision you'll ever make. That must be a weird feeling.
If the kind of life you describe is what drives people to it then mabye they have made the right choice, it sounds harsh but if you are physically unable to experience any joy of hapiness in your life then what's the point. I say go for it, and make those fuckers late home from work while you're at it

Seriously, all this crap about "depression" is a joke. Cheer up you miserable bastard and stop bringing everyone else down and / or making us late for work! You don't hear about depressed cavemen do you? It's a symptom of the MOLLYCODDLING which has become prevalent throughout modern society. "Oooh, I'm fed up about something - it must be a mental illness. I need time off work and drugs to get me through the day blah blah blah..." Stop feeling sorry for yourself, pick yourself up and GET ON WITH IT like everyone else does everyday of their lives. SELFISH.

Bellend Dolphin - you have no idea do you - manic depression is not the same as winter blues and pop down the doctors for a dose of fashionable prozac beacuse you've split from your girlfriend of 6 months !

i agree there's mollycoddling in modern day society, but thats not the sort of fashionable depression that i'm referring to.

Do you get pleasure out of posting flippant crap on a subject that impacts daily with the sufferer and families (even after suicide).

Maybe you think cancer is a bit of a laugh too and tough shit eh, or that the M25 stag party crash was "so what, just one of them things" !

i can tell you've never had a life experience yet !!
