I must have just missed this! I got the delayed 10.41 from Gatwick. Liz got off at HH to get our car and go home, I carried on to Brighton to come to work. About a minute after we left Hh the trained came to am abrumpt halt as they turned off the power. The driver/guard said it was a suspected fatality to the fast train following just behind us and all power had been cut!

I thought that the official NSC 'line' after discussing these in the past that there was to be no sympathy for the person who died (there are other less disruptive ways of topping yourself), but lots for the driver and people who were held up getting to work?

According to Arsegas site, Police confirm death is not suspicious but haven't actually confirmed suicide. Spose we draw our own conclusions!
