The big ones seem to represent all that's wrong with society today, greedy, lazy, stupid and have no sense of citizenship.
We have more nutritional info, gyms and spare cash than ever but the greed takes over,do we need another war to get people eating better? Should we tolerate the selfish lardos or tax the greedy beggars into health?

Both.

For some it's avoidable and for some there are serious mental or physical issues that make them fat. Impossible to pigeon hole the entire issue.

Some people it's an actual problem and becomes a real issue to tackle, but others are just lazy. I just cant stand fat people who make excuses, and want people to feel sorry for them. If your overweight, do something about it, only you can, stop moping around get off your arse...and stop eating.

For a majority it's laziness and complete lack of willpower. For a very few it's a medical issue.

My gf has a fat friend. She eats like a pig and yet cries and moans all the time that she doesnt have a bf... My gf gyms 3 times a week and yet her fat friend doesnt think 'maybe i should go too as im fat' but meets my gf after shes finished at the gym to eat at the gyms cafe... Madness

It is not just a superficial thing either... Being fat refects a lot about your personality... Lazy, No self respect, weak, no willpower etc etc

They should be taxed... smokers pay shit loads towards the NHS why shouldnt fatty fatty fat fats too as they use up as much NHS resource.

Like a Greggs pie tax, you mean. They should really bring that in. Oh, and while we're at it, let's ban alcohol and pastry products at all public arenas the country over.

I like fat people. They're a much kinder-hearted, and likely shorter-living, people than the foully arrogant slimbods out there. Ok they hate themselves and a groan a little too much about it, but no one's life is without difficulty and no human, pretty much, lives without vice, so i can live with the company of a fellow-human's struggle, and their love of some delightfully-mad-tasting sweets and pork-fatted tubes of squashed horse nadgers.

The fact that I can out and buy 3 bananas for the price of a chocolate bar speaks volumes. Can't even complain that eating healthy is too expensive.

HAHA and that's not a cliche... Leave the fat people alone they are much more friendly than slim people....

Not the fat pikies in the council estates in Kingston and Sutton... seems like they have a major chip on their shoulder.. Surprised they haven't eaten that big chip yet :lolol:

I would say a bit of both while it's easy to say that all fatties are lazy this is not the case for everyone! some people are really unlucky in that no matter what they eat and do they will gain weight, I have always been lucky in that I can eat what I want and don't gain weight ...well and the fact I know when I've had enough. Having watched a lot of programs about obesity a lot of the fatties are fat because they're brains and bodies work differently, so for this I don't think they should be punished but should be helped! much like you would help any other kind of addict.

I doubt the thinnies in these council estates of yours are naturally charming thanks to their ability to ignore the urge to gorge on a 6-pack of Picnics on the way to work. Fatties are like walking Rorschachs, their shirts and blouses forever changing in sweat patterns thanks to the merest alteration in temperature or numbers of times forced to stand up in an hour. I saw a hung dog on one last week emerging from a bus with its windows seemingly sealed.
Extra flesh i don't find a sin on others. I curse my judgmental self in my 20s for turning down the advances of a very portly ladyfriend who i was very close to. I thought purely of possible social embarrassment and for me to be judged as shallowly as i was of her. It could have been something wonderful and playful and loving. The "it" was not her, but of the relationship that could have easily formed.

No Frank Black, No Minutemen, No Cypress Hill, No Beth Ditto, No Daniel Johnston, No Robert Smith, No Aretha, No Robert Wyatt, No Warren Haynes, No Biz Markie. Think I'll pass on this fatties cull, thanks.

I'd rather have a cull of people who seem to have accepted the lowest common denominator for their life choices: The Voice, Take A Break magazine, Loose Women, British Home Stores, Milton Keynes, Manchester United, Walkabout pubs, auto-tune R&B, Fearne Cotton, textspeak, Pacha nightclubs. Trust me, these people won't be missed.

Yes fatties do add variety however they aren't all nice...

Not sure if this was a wind up or genuine but can't you go looking for this long lost fat love round all the local McDonalds and bakeries

Yes, let's ban all the pies. That'll solve the problem. I hope the posters who hate fat people are prepared to post pictures of themselves as most of the fans I see at the Amex are overweight.
