Does anyone actually cares about UKIP any more?

The referendum will happen in 2017 (and will be soundly beaten, hopefully) and UKIP will become even more of an irrelevance than they are now.

They garnered 3m votes. They might not have the seats, but they have a base of support.

Leaving aside Farage's non resignation, today the EU Commission (unelected by the UK electorate) have confirmed they will create and implement a law to ensure all the EU's member states take those migrants landing in Italy and Spain. This means the UK could take up to 100,000 migrants based on our current GDP and other economic date, and subject to how many more arrive.

This is not media scapegoating migrants, it is informing the viewers that regardless of who we vote into Parliament an unelected institution holds sway over the British electorate.

It is precisely this kind of issue that drives many voters to UKIP...........

The population of Worthing and people still think mass uncontrolled immigration is good for the country and people still harp on about how wonderful the unelected EU commission is. Simply unsustainable.

After Farage, there is Carswell and after him can anyone name a major UKIP party official ? If Farage goes there is no figurehead for the 3m voters to rally around.

And only HALF of what the natural UK Population increases by each year.

698,512 births compared to 506,790 deaths.

You should also note that births are decreasing (by about 4% per year) and deaths are rising (about 1.5% each year). At that rate, the UK population will need immigration to sustain ourselves.

We best start reproducing then.

Well seeing as UKIP have not been in government and rarely get airtime unless it's about a misdemeanor, then unlike the opposition and the Libs that were the number 3 supported party (not now though, it's UKIP) then of course the UKIP candidates are not household names.

Did SNP disappear after they lost the yes vote ? No. They came back stronger.

UKIP will still be here even if they lose the referendum and will still be trying again to bring about an independent United Kingdom.

I will hope to see the day my country has all powers at home and is not just the 15th state of the European union.

Interestingly though I don't think Dennis Skinner has ever voted for any EU legislation in his political life as an MP.

Like Tony Benn and other traditional Labour advocates, they consider that Parliament should not be subordinate to a foreign institution, and not least a foreign institution that is not subject to a democratic mandate.

Skinner has more in common with Farage than many would think.

It does continue to surprise me with so many Socialist groups and Trade Union organisations against The EU that there are still people who will say that those who are opposed to The EU are simply of the Far-Right persuasion

Any theories why this is the case ???
