Could you please bet on either my 5 year old son or 3 year old daughter waking me up at f***ing 5.30am tomorrow morning. I'll give you odds of 5/1 for either of them to do so. f*** it, 10/1 - I need the kip.

Ta.

Have you tried blackout lining at the windows...as a mother of 5 it was one of the best things we ever bought...they don't realise it's got light outside!

we've invested in that for our "nursery" (Junior Seagull expected in 8 weeks time...) - am trusting that it will pay off with nights of unbroken sleep pretty much from the word go...

You come out the other end. My wife and I regularly go to bed at weekends and our two are not back from where they have been. I do get a bit concerned that we may be bad parents - but I can't keep awake to make sure they have returned safely .............

Give it 12-14 weeks and you'll probably be getting through most of the night....but those blockouts are essential - well done, completely agree with Dc rules

I don't have kids, at weekends I have many hours of unbroken sleep when I come in from clubbing. It's bliss.

What?

Every f***ing time I go clubbing I wake up the next morning at 7am on the dot  Ruins my Sunday!

Sometimes I don't even get home until that sort of time, especially after a long session at the Honey until 5 then the Market Diner for an early breakfast. :jester:
