Vicar, I've been trying to get in touch about Roy. Still reeling from the sad news, he was an absolute gentleman and true football fan. He introduced me to real ale and managed to drag me, a die hard Boro fan to so many Albion games across the country - Hartlepool to Halifax, Hull to Huddersfield and many more besides! I'll never forget going into that pub in South Shields on Sunderland/Newcastle derby day wearing Albion shirts, the landlord in a panic about rivalry instinctively chucked us all out shouting 'No colours, no colours' then said - 'Hang on, is that Brighton??' then fell about laughing at us! Great times!

Cheers John, I'm hoping to come for the funeral, just need to rearrange holiday stuff as we were supposed to be going away. Fantastic offer mate, I have my cousin Spike in Brighton and my mate Garry who have both offered a bed! Cheers though. Still can't believe it, I owe a lot to Roy as does anyone who knew him, he showed us all how to be a mate!
