Martin Hess will regularly be found at Brighton games. I’m surprised a few on here don’t know him already. Really nice guy actually.
Recognise the face, shame what party he stands for however. I’m sure he is a nice guy, but as someone from a family of immigrants, his party couldn’t be happier to make them more unwelcome.

Just looked at his profile. It's a face I recognise but not to talk to.

The first three paragraphs of his bio made me warm to him. I was thinking 'maybe he's not so bad after all'

Then we moved on to lockdown conspiracy theory and the 'wokerati'.

I'd rather be represented by a turd in a cup.

Precisely my thoughts, absolutely fine and then a load of nonsense about wokerati. Is there surely not anything slightly more important in the world to campaign on, bizarre.

You need to move to Westdene, we are already represented by a turd in a cup

Hove actually
Kyle will romp Hove again. I normally lean to Blue but they have arsed up the country so it’s a no to them. As to the rest it’s a no to Green as they royally screwed up this city when in power, I don’t trust Red and even less locally since they got into power so, Yellow a possibility or independent (insert colour code of choice). Whoever gets into power is going to have a tough time of it and needs to hit the ground running.

I'll firebomb your house as well if you do, so jot that one down.

I spoke to Tanushka Marah and told her I will be voting for her. And I will be true to my word.

I would be horrified if that opened the door for the tories, though I guess this is very unlikely.

Peter Kyle is OK, but needs his feet held to the fire. My understanding, please correct me if i'm wrong, is that he's in the Labour Friends of Israel group, and hasn't resigned that position, even despite the bombardment of Gaza. The fella needs to be reminded he lives in a progressive area and that he can't take for granted people who have a concern for mass slaughter of civilians

He's a Vice Chair of Labour Friends of Israel. Labour's stance on a ceasefire and support for Israeli genocidal actions mean I can't vote for him this time round.

Surely our biggest local issue is the state of the NHS and in particular the fa
White bloke in his 60s. Highly unusual for Reform.
Pretty sure there was a Martin Hess there when I was there, I am 67 but he was older than me so would make him 70. I guess it might be his son....

He has said the dreaded ' I work in IT for HP & IBM' and seemingly at a pretty senior level. Had many dealings with both companies including working for the former....
