I love carnations and they last the longest.

A bouquet of those will still be going strong two weeks later.

Carnations are sooooooo garage forecourt.

After a week the petals go crusty and brown round the edges and the stems turn to foul-smelling green oozy slime - even if you change the water regularly.

(They are truly the Paul McCartney of flowers... )

Not the ones flown fresh from Jersey although having looked at teh Flying flowers site again they do seem to have lessened their choice recently.

I like what I like even if it considered chavish.
