After a meeting with the person I am laying the fanzine up with we think we can get it all done and dusted and at the printers for tuesday or wednesday.

With a turn around time of 3 days that should (and I will be checking with printers tomorrow) mean I can collect it on the Monday morning of the March at the latest.

I realise that there are certain laws about selling on the sea front HOWEVER,

a)I am sure the police have bigger fish to fry on the day of a large protest and with the government in town.

b) We are not some pikey selling beeds or henna tatooes..or swans made from paper.

c) We will not have a stall but will be moving with the crowd.

If I have the fanzines on that Monday I will be selling them so please come and buy one for the reasonable price of one english pound.

There is still time to get an advert in, rates are as follows:

Full page £45

Half Page £25

Anyone who wants to advertise or just help out with the selling please post on here.

I know I am bias but it is a cracking read.

Remember spellcheck only picks up on incorrectly spelt words, not words that are spelt correctly but are just the wrong word.

Richie - I have said this twice to you - both times relatively privately, but you have paid no attention.

And you've now gone on the main board with your plan to sell the fanzine at the march.

So I'll have to repeat myself in public.

The march is being stewarded by Falmer For All. It is ESSENTIAL that you get permission from the march organisers before you make plans to sell the fanzine during the event. I wouldn't want you and your team of sellers to fall foul of stewards who will have a pretty difficult job to do.

Please approach Paul Samrah before making any firm plans.

Quite separately, Brighton & Hove City Council do not allow anyone to sell anything on the seafront, without a licence.

I'm sorry to everyone for having to post this publicly.

If the council say no there is one easy way around it. You can ask for 'donations' for the fanzine, a minimum of which could be a quid.

You should get a liscence though.
