Oh dear! My response changes to hope they f***ing burn!

It's quite ironic that the tax office dealing with the Lewes shambles is the Worthing office, once their bitterest rivals & a club that has had to cut back over the last few years in order to stay viable.

That as well was due to silly spending on wages on Worthing's part (Richard Paquette on very silly money), however cutting back and using what has turned out to be a succesful youth system, we have done ok at R1S, however this season might see us struglgle a bit i think!!

But back to Lose FC......well lets just wait for Lee to continue diging a hole for himself....:D

Won't discourage those who wish to go and "help" Lose in their time of "need", but if this quote is to be taken as being serious, then you'll see what some of the idiots who hang around Lose are like

better still BHA shouldve done something to help out after all the links with the previous manager its like they dont care well they are the biggest professional club around

Other than provide Albion with a reserve ground for a year, what else have Lose done that makes them think that Brighton should be helping them out so much!! If that was the case then every non-league club in sussex would be knocking on the albion's door for some money because due to the recession they are in dire straights (Whitehawk being the exception)

I'll be spending my first afternoon back at the football after being on holiday watching the currently-not-so-mighty Worthing in the FA Cup at Woodside Road if anyone wishes to attend that fixture alternatively!!

Lee Cobb is a genuine Lewes fan, not mired by the various bits of mismanagement that have bedevilled the Dripping Pan over recent years.

He and his fellow Rooks have my unqualified support.

Fair Enough, and good luck to them, but the point remains is that Lewes have made this mess for themselves and if the worst comes to the worst, then they can reform again at the County League level with the right people in charge keeping account of the books.....lets see then how many "Rooks" will join Lee and the other hardcore's when the prospect of Chichester City, Worthing United or even Pease Pottage Village (depending on which level of the CL they'd drop down to) away is what they will find week in week out!! who knows how many will:shrug:

Well, it's sad that certain people have certain opinions and can hide behind their false login names. I often put up with shit on the Lewes forum so, I'm afraid it's water off the ducks back.

All those who come along will be welcome. For those who can't but have given support, thank you. For those who just hide behind login names and throw stones, grow up.

Oh and I had two Worthing fans sponsor me during last weeks walk along the South Downs Way with their money going to the Lewes memebers club. So not all Worthing fans are knobs!

Remember, Lewes FC were there when you needed them.
Indeed they were.

For the benefit of its_neil (who commented "eh?" in response to this) ... Lewes FC's supporters were, for the most part, staunch supporters of the Falmer project (like most residents of Lewes district).

Even Martin Elliott put himself out to back the Albion in the argument we had with Lewes District Council. If people remember, one of Lewes FC's sponsors who opposed Falmer responded to this by pulling out of sponsoring a game at the Dripping Pan and NSC members stumped up a few hundred quid to take over the sponsorship of the match in question ... the Rooks' never to be forgotten 5-4 victory over Redbridge.
