High up on the South Downs.
Bearded middle aged blokes with beer guts , sporting one is quite frankly cringeworthy any man over the age of 18 doing this should be put down and stop making fools of themselves ..

Bet there's plenty of Saturday dressers on here in there stripes ...

Can't for the life of me work out why you would do it ???,:tantrum:

It's gratifying that some Albion fans fall into the stereotype. The Iron Hoofs of Upton Park will be delighted.

Yeah, I suppose your right. Once we stop selling them to Joe Bloggs I guess these big clubs will follow.

In a pile of football shirts
Just blokes getting behind their team. Not cringeworthy, not embarassing. I can tell you what is a bit embarrasing, the fact that there are so called fans of this wonderful football club who feel the need to be rude and disparaging about other fans. Expressing opinion is one thing, deliberately trolling a supporters message board to annoy other fans is sad, why don't you stop?

What a poor post by the OP.

Who do you think you are? Jesus? The Queen? Cok Wan? Im 30, not slim :) and wear my shirt with pride. I only wear them to the matches.

I take it you buy only unique 1 off pieces of clothing also, no? Cant be wearing the same as common folk? Or is it that your jealous your dad wont give you the pocket money to buy a shirt.

Im doubting if this a BHA fan or a CPFC fan on the wind up.

Tony and co are already on the case. An advert for beard spotters at each entry point is going to print as we write.

Bennibenj, do me a favour. Please change your Avatar. It is the most annoying thing I have ever seen. You know when something really bugs you but you cant put your finger on why, well that is it. Can't even bring myself to look at it again. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgghh. If it's a self portrait then please forgive me.

It's not right to judge people but lets be honest, people over 13 who wear football shorts when not playing football are well judged by the rest of society! I said on the chelsea parade thread that I saw a bloke in London off to their parade wearing chelsea top and would you believe shorts and socks too! Made me think of a 10 year old who would bring his kit just in case his dad's team was short of numbers! OK sorry I know its unkind and we should live & let live but old /fat blokes in football tops are comedy gold.

Why are they comedy gold?

No I agree, it'd be much better for us just to wear 'sports casual' than blue and white at the football. Something like this:

Why comedy gold? Well, I know its unkind but the whole "brits wearing football shirts", tattoos and sun burn look is cringeworthy. I took a French couple around Brighton on a bank holiday and after I got over the embarrassment I had to join in and laugh.

OP, what is your justification for determining that the age of 18 is necessary as the cut off point for not wearing replica shirts?

Note that whatever your answer is, I will continue to wear a replica shirt with pride, because I would hate to be mistaken for a fan of any club other than Brighton and Hove Albion. End.
