f*** the documentary honestly.

Delays presumably tied to first Potter leaving for Chelsea and then Roberto de Zerbi being a dickhead with a 7-word vocabulary (despite years of practising English) indicates that the club is only interested in showing the documentary if everything is spotless, glorious and going on the right track, and then it isn't a documentary anymore: its a propaganda piece. Long form advertisement.

If a documentary can't be made or showed because of interesting things happening, then it makes no sense to make a "documentary" at all. Two hours of Tony and Paul praising their own work, sounds fun.
I'm more interested in the pre- Falmer stuff so having made it and done the interviews it would be a shame not to see it. Who knows, you might learn something and perhaps understand what it means to be a long term Albion fan.

I was hyped about it, and indeed the potential history lesson, but when it seems that any amount of turbulence in the club makes the documentary unreleasable, it certainly gives me the impression that the whole thing would be filled with club-positive narratives.

If indeed release, I'll have a hard time watching it without wondering "so these historical parts, are they exaggerated to make the present Albion look better and more well run?"

When the subject of a documentary contols the content of a documentary, its bound to be shit, and shouldn't even have the label "documentary".

Fair points but it would be impossible to exaggerate just how badly the club was "run" pre 1997. 😄

Worthing
Cantor…..

Questions sharp and succinct….
No life stories or poetry
Specific issues (like seat moving). Club representatives in attendance.

However, be aware…… “will you be leaving someone up on corners” is in the audience.

He said Romano was a cock, basically, for stirring the BG to Napoli pot.
I did wonder if it was about Romano, Barber shut that down pretty quick.

Very impressed by the way Fabian speaks. Comes across as seriously intelligent. Especially given how many nice but dull questions he's being given by Children and the idiot who thinks the best players should start every game.
