Agreed, like making the Oxford friendly not available to matchlive subscribers because it was a one off. That was a cheap trick and lucky for them that the commentary wasn't available in the end .

I'm not sure I'll bother at renewal anyway and just watch Jeff Stelling instead.

7.30 come and gone - looks like an episode of the 1983 Making the most of your Micro for me! :jester:

Seriously, the timing is terrible. They want people to resubscribe to SW and do something stupid like this. How much revenue will be lost because someone forgot to post a link?

Not the first time things like this have happened though is it. Would seem petty if not for the fact that you pay a fair few quid for it as well.

To top it all - it won't let me cancel. It asks me if I'm sure and then does nothing. There will be hell to pay if I'm billed.

Just cancelled mine, it said are you sure and now says

ORDER STATUS
Your Seagulls World subscription is scheduled to end on 15 Aug 2005. If you would like to purchase additional items then you can select from one of the available packages below.

So mines stopped

Mine says that but I'm not convinced it didn't say that before. I'm not taking a chance that repeat billing will kick in so I've emailed them.

Just cancel you direct debit, its your right to, read the small print you'll notice you can cancel a DD at ANY time.:)

Think I paid by lump sum on a debit card so I can't do that - however, my debit card has changed number so they won't be able to take it anyway! :lolol:

They need to learn lessons from this, they are not just pissing off the usual suspects who will moan at anything but people who normally support them.

I knew I should have invested my money in anger management classes rather than a Seagulls World subscription

No, but there'll also be the usual suspects that will claim that it will be anyone elses but the clubs fault and that we are just moaners.
